From Struggle to Service

enlisted in the army. It was then that she felt a

Inspired by a desire to be surrounded by a
strong community and culture, Amila chose to
pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at
Prairie View A&M University. She was
particularly moved by the alumni and current
students who exemplified a high standard of
academic excellence and community spirit.
